1928 - 1935 After William Asbury Edwards death in 1909, grandson Willie Edwards lived with Nancy Josephine Harrod Edwards on the old homeplace that was located on the banks of Nolin River on the Hart County line next to Grayson County, KY. In her latter years of life, Nancy Josephine "Josie" Harrod Edwards lived with her two daughters: Rosa Belle Edwards Alvey in Wax, Grayson County, Kentucky and Mary Tabitha "Tobe" Edwards Merideth (probably in Hopkins County, KY and/or Evansville, In). There is NO Death Certificate on file at Vital Records Office in Frankfort, KY ofr Nancy Josephine "Josie" Harrod Edwards.

1857 - 1862 Five years prior to enlistment residence was in Edmonson County and occupation was carpenter.
