This is a picture of Rosa Belle Edwards (1872-1946) and her husband, Benjamin Francis "Frank" Alvey (1870-1952). They lived in Wax, Grayson County, Kentucky, where the Nolin Lake is now located. They reared two children: Sylvia Edwards ( Rosa Belle's niece) and Flossie (Frank's niece). They took into their home Rosa Belle's mother, Nancy Josephine "Josie" (Herrod) Edwards, to care for her in a latter years of life.
