DECLARATION FOR INVALID PENSION
On 28 March 1892, Franklin Polster applied for an invalid pension on the basis that he was "partially unable to earn a support by manual labor, by reason of Injury of right leg and his general condition. Claims rating upon his combined ailments." Apparently, he was not granted the pension as the Commissioner of Pensions stated on 4 June 1892 that Franklin Polster had deserted on 19 March 1863.
